 Food & Wine Appreciation Dinner
On 13th June 2009, HKABA SA Chapter hosted an annual Food & Wine Appreciation Dinner at Ming’s Palace Chinese Restaurant, in Adelaide.
The annual event sponsored by ANZ, attracted approximately 160 guests and VIP's. Our grand event was also attended by Mr. Hieu Van Le a Patron of HKABA SA Chapter Inc. Our master of ceremonies and our guide to the exquisite wines presented during the event and as part of the Wine Options Quiz.
Through Wine Options Quiz, a fun and interactive experience, where Chinese food is matched with Australian wines patrons are learning the character of the wine. This events has been run for many years and its one of the most successful events for HKABA-SA Chapter through out the years.
The added benefit from the event is for the wineries. During the game, they are promoted through the evening. This event also helps boost their interest in joining our wine delegation to participate in Hong Kong Wine Fair.
With the enjoyable and ever so pleasant atmosphere of fun & camaraderie, the evening run late into the night. Guest left with smiles on their faces wanting next year's event to come soon. |

75 minute Trade Exchange: SA & Hong Kong
This is the first joint function with "In-Business" magazine of 75 minute Trade Exchange.We have 34 people attended and six of them are our Committee members.The format is quite innovative which is a mixture of speed dating and general cocktail format.
The individual audiences are clearly specified what they are or what they are looking for. The whole atmosphere is conducted in a very delightful manner.
This is a very good networking function and we managed to have known many other business people in a very short time.
I can see there is a great exposure of our Association to them and many people took away our folders. Certainly a good way to introduce our Association activities to other business people who has some interest to do business with HK & China.
Well done to Graham Wakeling from "In-Business" and I'm sure this is a beginning for both of us to cooperate together to work on the business sectors in Adelaide. |
