The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Sydney (HKETO, Sydney) congratulates the Hong Kong Children's Symphony Orchestra (HKCSO) on the success of its Australasian tour, which covers cities in both Australia – Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne and in New Zealand – Auckland and Wellington.

Presented by HKETO Sydney, the HKCSO's Australasian concert tour is one of the activities celebrating the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Led by Dr Yip Wai-hong and joined by Assistant Conductor Ms Law Po-kwan and Honorary Guest Conductor Professor Gabriel Leung, the wonderfully talented children with their stunning musical calibre and sheer professionalism have won thunderous applause from thousands of audiences on both sides of the Tasman.

In the past months, HKETO Sydney has presented a series of events inviting all spectrums of people to share with the celebrations, including the breathtaking 'Light Up Hong Kong House' laser light show, 'Hong Kong Cinema' featuring three fantastic Hong Kong movies and an art exhibition 'Australia: through Hong Kong eyes' showcasing the brilliant works of the talented university art students.
