GOLD COAST: Surfers Paradise shines through the storm |

The weather was extremely bad, the road was flooded, but that didn't stop people from attending a Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) business seminar on May 20 at Surfers Paradise on Queensland's Gold Coast.
Supported by the Gold Coast City Council, the evening featured Ms Bonnie Shek, Director of the HKTDC for Australia/NZ, outlining opportunities for doing business with Hong Kong/China. Ms Shek gave an update on the situation of Hong Kong/China in the global financial crisis.
Mr Keith Mason, Principal & Regional Co-ordinator of Envirolyte Asia Pacific, followed with an address on environmental technology, sharing his business experience in Hong Kong/China with the audience. The event ended with relaxing and enjoyable cocktail networking.
The business seminar was attended by nearly 30 local business people, who showed great enthusiasm for the business opportunities apparent in Hong Kong and China. |
