Aussie’s and Kiwis log on @ HK ICT EXPO

More than 25 companies from Australia and NZ showcased their latest e-services, IT and software applications at the recent HK ICT EXPO in April. This year the Australian Pavilion welcomed for the first time, exhibitors from Multimedia Victoria and Australian Industry Information Association (AIIA). The Australian Pavilion was organised and led by Ms. Janelle Ledwidge from Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) and supported by Austrade, SA Government and Electronics I.C.T Association (EICTA). 2009 also saw for the first time Kiwi companies join in a NZ Pavilion organised and supported by Ms Helen Wattie Executive Officer of Software New Zealand.

Hamish MacLeod Sales Director from SMX in NZ comments "For our first foray in to the HK market, we found this trip to be a great success and we will be submitting a business introduction application shortly to follow up for more leads. We found six smaller companies in HK as a result of the ICT Expo that we are following up to become potential customers for our service in that market to initially test our product to ensure it meets local expectations"
