Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations in Hong Kong
The Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the important Chinese traditional festivals, falls on 24 September this year. Neighbourhoods across Hong Kong will arrange a host of lantern exhibitions with the grandest of all in Victoria Park on Hong Kong Island. Fire Dragon Dance will also be highlights of the celebrations. During the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance to be held on 23 to 25 September, a “fire dragon” lit with incense sticks will be carried by about 300 people through the streets, recreating the fiery ancient ritual.

Ink Asia and Fine Art Asia in Hong Kong
Ink Asia 2018, the world’s first art fair dedicated to ink art, will be staged alongside Fine Art Asia 2018 from 29 September to 2 October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Hong Kong FinTech Week
The Hong Kong FinTech Week, an annual big-scale FinTech conference led by Invest Hong Kong, will be staged from 29 October to 2 November this year. With an aim to facilitate business opportunities and establish Hong Kong as the leading FinTech hub in the region, the conference will bring together international FinTech companies, start-ups and stakeholders looking to expand and scale their businesses to Hong Kong, the Mainland China, or the Asia-Pacific region. The final day of the event will be held in Shenzhen. FinTech companies seeking new opportunities in the Mainland China will be invited to demo and pitch in front of the audience. Hot topics such as Bay Area FinTech collaboration will be covered in the panel discussions.
