Basic Law Exhibition in Sydney
The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Sydney will present the “Discover the Basic Law and Hong Kong” exhibition at Broadway Shopping Centre in Sydney from 7 -13 March. The Basic Law, which came into effect on 1 July 1997, is the constitutional document of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region. The exhibition introduces the historical background of the Basic Law and charts the path of its drafting, from promulgation to implementation in Hong Kong, with a view to enhancing the understanding of the contents and the provisions of the Basic Law. Hong Kong Flower Show 2016
Horticulture lovers all over the world will have a good chance to appreciate the annual Hong Kong Flower Show from 11 - 20 March at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay. Featuring “Antirrhinum majus” as its theme flower, the event will showcase this exquisite plant and a rich profusion of exquisite potted plants, beautiful floral arrangements and gorgeous landscape displays by organizations from local, the Mainland and overseas. Sightseeing tram tour opens for booking
People can now discover Hong Kong’s history with a one-hour sightseeing journey aboard a unique 1920s-style tram. The TramOramic tram with an open top upper deck, transforms a tram ride into a living heritage experience.
