Hong Kong Festival in NZ: Something for Everyone |

 Now thrice awarded the ‘Best Initiative (Asia & Australasian region)’ event by the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide, the Hong Kong Festival comes back to Auckland and Wellington in 2013 with a bang!
This year the Festival will include Cinema Hong Kong, a film festival which will feature classic Hong Kong blockbusters together with the latest films from the city. Student short films from four partnering Hong Kong institutes will also be featured to align with the theme of ‘Developing Young Talents’. In addition to this, there will be screenings for short films from local students from the University of Auckland, Unitec and AUT University.
The Auckland film festival will be held at Rialto Cinema Newmarket from August 22 - 28, whilst the one in Wellington will be held at The Embassy Theatre from August 29 - September 1.
