HKABA visit Hobbs Winery at the Barossa ValleyTeresa Lee of the National Office, Eddie Yuen of Queensland, Patrick Ho of South Australia and George Zhu of TopWine China visited the Artisan of Barossa Gallery in the Barossa Valley on a very cold wintry day. Greg and Allison Hobbs were the most amicable hosts and introduced several of their boutique wines.

The Hobbs winery is tucked away in the Ranges of South Australia’s famed Barossa Valley. At Hobbs, the grapes from vines are grown on own family-held vineyard, and produce wines that make a statement in excellence.

Production is very limited. In fact the largest volume of any fine wine that are produced is 300 dozen; a drop in the ocean by today's standards, but a very fine drop indeed.

Hobbs wines are quickly gaining recognition as being amongst the world’s best red wines and dessert wines.
